About: How to stream syncronised audio over wifi using the Audiocast streamer. These little guys will synchronise audio to two rooms over your wifi connection without any technical skill required. They will suit the audiphiles too as they stream at lossless 320kbps (AAC:AAC-LC, HE-AAC, HE-AAC v2;WMA 48KHz/16bit or up to 192KHz/24bit.) HI Paul,
I bought a couple of these (the little rounds ones) based on your review and loved it so much I bought MORE to PEPPER MY HOME with them (and it worked great with Pandora and Spotify). Unfortunately I now have a problem. The Audiocast app (Android) doesn’t support Amazon Music, for which I’m (at least) for now committed to (mainly for the combination of family pricing, explicit lyric blocker for the kids, and obviously integration with Alexa). I’m wondering if you know of a work around. It appears these devices interface with DLNA and/or AirPlay but I can’t find a way to either stream that protocol from the Amazon Music app (or even from a web browser). Thanks in advance from Seattle!
Hey dude, thanks for the kind words! Check this thread out on reddit, You could either share the track from Amazon music to bubbleupnp which could then do the DLNA strea, (IO think!) or root your droid and install AirAudio … www.reddit.com/r/Chromecast/comments/4lhxsn/casting_the_amazon_music_app_to_chromecast_from/ Hope that helps!
